If you could pick one singer as your favorite who would it be? I would definitely pick Elvis Presley! I think his voice was beautiful.

who I think has the best voice, or who is the best performer ? Greatest female voice ever -- in my opinion -- is Karen Carpenter. Hands down, no other female singer touches her, remember, this is my opinion. I will have to think about the male part.

Female singer-- Karen Carpenter Male singer-- Freddie Mercury. I am not a big Elvis or Sinatra fan and I think that Tony Bennett has been around way too long. I mean he does duets with Bono from U2 and probably has a duet with Eminem coming in the near future. Mercury had lots of range, so I will give it to him. Josh Groban 2nd ?

I forgot about Freddie Mercury, he definitely was a great singer. Bohemian Rhapsody , A kind of magic, and We are the Champions are my favorite songs by Queen.

Hard to say that you have a favorite singer. But, considering who you would listen to over and over without necessarily getting tire of hearing would be my method of choosing. I agree with Anthony on Karen Carpenter. She was awesome! But in more recent years I've come to adore Celine Dion. Plus, I think Elton John has been with me on many of my dog walks.
