Could It Happen ?

Is there a real possibility that one year soon a city will have a champion in two of the four major sports(Baseball, football, basketball, hockey) in the same calendar year ?Of course it is theoretically possible , but will it happen? If so, which city ?

If the Steelers stay healthy, it could be this year. The Penguins already have the Stanly Cup. Let's see what Ben and the boys can do. Thumbs Up

Well, technically the Super Bowl would be played in Jan of 2010 for the '09 season. Since all other sports except baseball run over into a new calendar year from their opening days, we need to define what we're after here. If you're talking purely "when the championship game is played" then Pittsburgh already has the 2 in one year with this past January's Super Bowl, and this past June's Stanley Cup.
